Five surrenders in 2013
In 2013 TSR received five surrenders who needed help. When they arrived, our vet determined that none had any vaccinations nor had been spayed/neutered (except for Skye Blue). All had serious problems with their teeth, especially Skye Blue who lost all but six. All still had rear dewclaws. Overall, we estimated that each dog would require at least $450 of vet care. Please click here for their story.
Helping Shelties with behavior issues
TSR deals with many different types of personalities entering our rescue program. We'd like to think that all the shelties which come to us are perfectly behaved, fully vetted and immediately available for adoption. Unfortunately, this quite often is not the case. Please click here to read about how TSR and our wonderful volunteers are helping these dogs to become eligible for a forever home.
